What is this?

Loving kindness is an embodied, compassionate state of being that is intrinsically interconnected with wisdom and understanding. It involves being conscious and attentive to the suffering of oneself and of others while unfolding the best of our attention, care, and kindness. Loving kindness is not an emotion, but an orientation of being that brings an attitude of compassion, non-harming and unconditional acceptance to everything that is experienced. It cultivates an appreciation for being alive, for cultivating our full potential, and for understanding true peace.
